The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Deputy Test Program Manager to join our team in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA. This position will split time between Everett, WA and Seattle, WA and will require travel between both locations based on business needs.

The selected candidate will be responsible for technical, schedule and budget management of BCA Product Development Flight Demonstrators. These responsibilities will require working closely with Product Development and BCA leadership along with BT&E Functional leadership to enable development of technically viable, executable plans.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for BCA Product Development Flight Demonstrators, including eco-Demonstrators, FAA Demonstrators, and other future opportunities
  • Manage employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 3+ years of experience with test planning
  • Experience leading or managing engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Lab test operations Experience

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $138,550 – $187,450
