POSITION: Deputy Sealer

SALARY: $21.68 hour ANNUALLY: $39,457.60

SHIFT: Office hours 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, 35-hour work week

SUMMARY:

• To Inspect all devices that are required under Federal & State law

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• · Inspect devices
• · Create a report for inspection, listing all devices and results of testing
• · Maintain record of devices, testing dates, pass/fail information and date of inspection
• · Attends classes for certification of each device category
• · Assists the State inspectors on inspection of devices requiring equipment not owned by Delaware County Weights & Measures
• · Performs other related duties, as required
• · Wears clothing identifying DELCO Weights & Measures at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• · Strong math skills
• · Able to lift 50 lbs.
• · Must have a PA driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.68 per hour
