Duties:
- Assist with administrative tasks in the court office
- Maintain court records and files
- Prepare and process legal documents
- Schedule court hearings and manage court calendars
- Collect and handle cash payments for fines, fees, and other court-related transactions
- Provide customer service to individuals visiting the court office
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from the public
- Assist judges and attorneys during court proceedings
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures is a plus
