The Deputy Chief of Staff for Executive Operations, Community Engagement, and Strategic Partnerships is a pivotal role within our organization, working to ensure the seamless operation of the office, engage with and serve our community and build valuable partnerships. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing our mission, achieving our organizational goals, and addressing special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Office Operations Oversight:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance office efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure the seamless operation of the office, guaranteeing that all departments and teams collaborate harmoniously.
Financial Management:
Oversee the CFO who manages budgets for various entities, including OEDIT, CEO, LG, OSPB, and the Governor's Office.
Collaborate with the CFO to establish and execute the office's budget strategy, maintain internal controls, and ensure proper accounting procedures.
Manage federal grant management, including applications, compliance, and reporting.
Executive Residence and Operations:
Work closely with the Deputy Director of Executive Operations to manage the Executive Residence and ensure it is maintained to the highest standards.
Oversee the IT department to ensure the seamless functioning of office technology and systems.
Manage onboarding processes for new hires and the invoicing procedures for the office.
Community Engagement:
Direct the Community Engagement Managers in building and nurturing strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Oversee the planning and execution of cultural events, as well as constituent services and correspondence.
Coordinate Community Engagement events of all sizes, fostering connections with various community stakeholders.
Develop and cultivate strategic partnerships with external organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to advance the organization's mission and goals.
Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnership that align with our objectives.
Special Projects:
Lead and participate in special projects as needed to address emerging challenges or opportunities within the organization.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in office management, financial oversight, Community Engagement, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic outreach, with a minimum of 7-10 years in a senior management role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in budget management, accounting principles, grant management, and strategic partnership development.
A commitment to promoting Community Engagement, fostering positive relationships with diverse constituents, and securing philanthropic support.
