Deputy Adams County Attorney / Prosecutor

The Adams County Attorney's Office prosecutes all criminal actions and proceedings as well as juvenile cases in Adams County. The position handles all levels of criminal complaints and all aspects of the cases and will join experienced prosecutors and gain exposure to all aspects of criminal and juvenile law in a forward thinking office known for developing alternatives to prosecution while ensuring safety for the community and accountability for the offender. The successful candidate must be able to handle a vigorous caseload and desire considerable courtroom experience. The successful candidate must be dependable, focused, and detailoriented and demonstrate and maintain a high level of professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with victims, law enforcement, judges, and fellow attorneys. Candidates with a demonstrated commitment to government work will be considered.

Requirements: Graduation from an ABA accredited law school and a license to practice law in Nebraska or be eligible for such license. The successful candidate must be willing to reside in Adams County.
