WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The primary mission of the Deployment Planner II is to provide the highest service level and fill rate possible within the working capital constraints of the financial plan.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory deployment, ensuring the highest service level and fill rate achievable within financial constraints.
  • Support Lennox’s stores/retail inventory management policies and processes, identifying shortages or system issues and taking corrective action to fulfill orders and meet demand.
  • Analyze inventory movement trade-offs to align with guidelines and criteria, contributing to ongoing improvements in distribution performance.
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues to the team, fostering long-term solutions over temporary fixes.
  • Assist in seasonal transitions and strategic redeployments to balance inventory across the network and minimize working capital while supporting sales objectives.
  • Analyze and develop logistics plans to enhance product workflow and efficiency.
  • Maintain logistics models for cost estimation and demand forecasting purposes.
  • Utilize analytical methods and tools to understand, predict, and optimize logistics operations and processes.
  • Manage databases of logistics information to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Generate reporting metrics such as on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment rates, and inventory turns to assess performance.
  • Monitor inventory transactions at warehouse facilities to ensure accuracy and integrity in receiving, storage, and shipping processes.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $57,600 - $75,600 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Materials, Operations, Business, or Supply Chain Management)
  • 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning
  • 1 years of experience in Inventory Planning
  • APICS – CPIM certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP ECC & APO SNP
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management principles
  • Current with best practices in inventory planning, statistics, and tools.
