Deployment Coordinator, MQ-9

The Deployment Coordinator reports to the Logistics/Deployment Manager and is administratively responsible for the Deployment process. Directs the overall deployment functions of the contract, including all aspects of compliance with applicable DOD directives and principles of sound maintenance discipline. Under limited supervision, applies comprehensive program knowledge and subject matter expertise to execute assigned duties.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Functions as the lead Coordinator for all deployment actions and serves as primary interface with customer(s) and employees.
• Interprets technical and programmatic elements to prepare routine and non-routine correspondence and documentation, develops program presentations and briefings, and submits required program management reports.
• Design, implement, and monitor multi-faceted deployment processes and procedures using multimedia platforms in a variety of general, administrative and technical areas, including original materials. Disseminate this information to all affected customers as required.
• Provides program advisory support including detailed, comprehensive analysis of deployment schedules, tasking's, and in-country procedures.
• Works with the International Business Team and Human Resources to ensure foreign host nation labor laws are understood and advises the Logistics/Deployment Manager on all conditions relevant to overseas employment.
• Facilitates the OCONUS travel related tasks on behalf of departing employees, including physical exams and evaluations, travel arrangements, lodging, Passports/Visa documents and related matters.
• Coordinate and maximize the utilization of resources to track the development of deployment processes. Provide timely reports and status updates from these processes.
• Use a variety of software programs to develop survey instruments, special reports, checklist documentation, training requirements, multimedia presentations, and reference materials to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to deployment training requirements.
• May provide supervision to junior level employees.
• Performs other duties and tasks as directed by the Logistics/Deployment Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an active Secret US Government clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Associate degree in a related discipline and 6 or more year's general experience in an aviation deployment career field.
• Possess 4 years specific experience with USAF/USN/USA deployment operations (or equivalent).
• Possess management experience and skills to support a highly complex OCONUS deployment program, including knowledge of deployment procedures, DOD and Federal Government directives and procedures, and Company and Customer policies and guidelines.
• Possess superior interpersonal and organizational abilities, computer/typing skills and knowledge of applicable software.
• Possess supervisory skills to coordinate deployment efforts with other assigned Deployment Coordinators and assistants to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of operations and maintenance tasks.
• Possess superior interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Possess a valid state issued driver's license.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant career field
• Operations & deployment experience
• Prior experience as a Defense Contractor
