SalaryThe City of Schofield is seeking a Public Works Employee. This is a full-time skilled position. In this position, the candidate will perform a variety of maintenance tasks and repairs on public facilities, properties and projects including but not limited to: streets, storm water, municipal water and sewer, parks, and other city property. Employee follows direction of the Director of Public Works.
The candidate should have the following: High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to use and operate heavy equipment, mechanically inclined, good driving record, team-oriented, the ability to perform the necessary physical demands of the position and work weekends on rotating basis. Must be able to work overtime when necessary. A valid Wisconsin CDLis required. A construction or agricultural background is a plus.
Starting wage is $25.12-31.40 per hour. Resumes accepted until position is filled. EOE.
