As a Dental Assistant/Sterilization Technician at our practice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of our daily operations while contributing to the overall patient experience. Responsibilities:
- Sterilize instruments according to regulation
- Charting and treatment planning
- In charge of the evaluation column
- Review patient health history and charting
- Take pre-operative and post-operative x-rays/CBCT scans
- Provide patients with clear instructions and post-operative care information
- Maintain accurate patient records and chart notes
- Create endodontic reports to referring offices
- Set up rooms with instruments, equipment, and materials needed
- Break down/clean operatories after each patient
- Maintain clean and stocked rooms
- Use all equipment with care and ownership
Requirements:
- Reliability and dependability
- Ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the dental team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to take x-rays/CBCT scans
- Self-motivating - a proactive problem solver
- Cross-train: chairside/assist endodontist when needed
- Bilingual/Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
