Dental Receptionist

Looking to add a part-time Dental Receptionist to our team! Dental experience is preferred. Candidate must be reliable, have strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.

Schedule:

• Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30-2:30 (Possibly Thursday as well)
• Saturday 7:45-2:00

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients to the dental office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix or other scheduling systems
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Manage patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical setting preferred
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
