Dental Patient Scheduling Coordinator

As a Dental Patient Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by efficiently managing patient appointments. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of dental scheduling processes and dental insurance verification will contribute to providing exceptional patient service. MUST HAVE DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Manage the scheduling system to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
- Collaborate with medical staff to prioritize and schedule urgent or emergency cases
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries regarding scheduling and appointments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Experience:
- MUST HAVE DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE (1 year)
- Familiarity with dental scheduling processes and terminology
- Knowledge of Open Dental software

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as a call center is a plus
