Auburn Prosthodontics is a privately owned dental lab located in Auburn, AL. At Auburn Prosthodontics we work closely with local dentists to fabricate the most extraordinary smiles. We pride ourselves in our communication skills, quality control, and consistency. We are looking for a full time lab technician to complete our amazing team!
Dental Lab Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Builds and repairs dental appliances.
- Fabricates crowns and bridges, full and partial dentures, custom abutments, occlusal appliances, and other dental appliances.
- Uses common dental lab tools, including porcelain ovens and furnaces, pinning equipment, and lathes.
- Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
- Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs), prescriptions, and dental impressions.
- Collaborates with dentists, and other dental lab technicians.
- Adheres to lab processes and procedures and industry standards.
- Experience with finishing porcelain or zirconia crown and bridge work preferred.

Dental Lab Technician Qualifications and Skills:
- Follows instructions and is diligent and detail-oriented.
- Works closely with dentists and other dental lab technicians and has strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates time-management, organization, and prioritization skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 year of dental lab technician experience is preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
