Salary```Duties``` As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health within a dental practice setting. Your duties will include: - Conducting dental cleanings and assisting dentists during procedures - Taking and developing dental x-rays - Performing oral cancer screenings - Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Administering local anesthetics - Documenting patient treatment plans and maintaining accurate medical records - Utilizing software such as Eaglesoft, Epic, and Dentrix for patient management - Applying knowledge of anatomy, CAD, HIPAA regulations, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols - Coding and billing procedures accurately using medical coding standards ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in managing medical records using Eaglesoft, Epic, and Dentrix software - Strong understanding of human anatomy to perform dental procedures effectively - Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental applications - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient data confidentiality - Ability to maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols - Experience in utilizing Dentrix software for patient scheduling and charting - Competency in medical coding to accurately bill procedures This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Dental Hygienist to contribute to the overall oral health and well-being of patients while utilizing advanced technologies and best practices in dental care.
