Dental Hygiene Assistant/Danb Certified

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Dental Hygiene Assistant/DANB Certified in the Indianapolis, IN area 46204 area! The Dental Hygiene Assistant/DANB Certified would be working for a Major Health Plan and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40 hours per week.
**Must reside in the Indianapolis, IN area**

• Mostly remote – in office once a week and then make off-site visits once a month to health centers and/or providers
   

Dental Hygiene Assistant/DANB Certified Compensation:

• The pay rate for this position is base on experience depending on certification and ranges between $27-$38/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights:

• The required schedule for this role is a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Start Date: 01/08/2024, Must have 100% attendance during the first 4 weeks of training

Dental Hygiene Assistant/DANB Certified Responsibilities:

• Monthly reviewing of SLT report and assessment of dental HEDIS measures.
• Dedicated outreach to members with care gaps.
• Aid members experiencing SDoH to connect with providers/locations.
• Monthly review and education for members with ED visits for dental pain.
• Attend DAC and DTF meetings.

Performance Expectations/Metrics:

• Number of calls made to HCs and members, number of visits to HCs, and number of referrals made to providers. 
• Timely preparation of reports and upward movement of percentage care gap closures.  

Dental Hygiene Assistant/DANB Certified Job Requirements:

• Minimum two years in clinical dental practice
• Strong communication/ listening skills; problem solver
• Data analysis
• Indiana Dental Hygiene license or DANB
• Indiana driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Dental Hygiene Assistant/DANB Certified Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 5 years in clinical practice, including FQHC, or RHC preferred
• Proficient in Spanish preferred
• Motivational interviewing
• Dental hygiene degree/certificate
