SalaryWe are looking for a Dental Billing Specialist who is friendly, outgoing, reliable, and skilled at multitasking.
We are a busy corporate office operating in Centreville that works on gathering information regarding claim statuses for 7 dental offices. This allows the office team to focus on other tasks while we take care of their billing and other needs behind the scenes.
A day at the office consists of you calling insurance companies and speaking to representatives to gather information on the reason claims have gotten denied. Once you obtain the reason for denial we have implemented protocols to follow in order to resubmit these claims.
Qualifications:
- Must have computer knowledge (Google docs, Microsoft word, etc)
- Must have experience working with dental insurances
- Must have strong communication skills, an attention to detail, be hardworking and meticulous
- Excellent phone experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skill
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Love the challenge of persistently working with insurance claims
Responsibilities:
- Speaking to representatives to gather information regarding a claim denial
- Making phone calls to various insurance companies for explanation of denials and status of claims
- Navigate various spreadsheets of aged claims
- Teamwork and flexibility in helping where needed and multitasking is a must
