Dental Assistant Instructor

Are you passionate about dentistry and skilled at teaching? We are seeking a Dental Assistant Instructor to provide hands-on education to students at our Dental Assistant school. Using your chair-side experience, you will teach students the necessary skills to succeed as entry-level Dental Assistants. Join us in molding and shaping the future of this exciting field!

• Zollege is currently searching for a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor to join the Spokane team
• The working hours for this position is held on Saturdays from 7am - 6 pm
• Additionally, monthly Zoom meetings are held in the evenings.

Hourly Rate: $28-30/hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for each class by reviewing the curriculum that we provide for each instructor, which may utilize lab stations.

• Demonstrate dental skills/procedures and assist students as they practice hands-on in the lab.

• Evaluate individual/group performance and make any necessary adjustments to meet student learning needs.

• Enforce classroom management and ensure that safety precautions are adhered to.

• Ability to convey curriculum and pertinent skills via *lectures* and hands-on demonstrations.
• Emailing, printing, scanning, troubleshooting, connecting to WiFi, and other basic computer abilities are required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (Required)

• 5+ years of recent Dental Assistant or chair-side experience (Required)
• CPR/BLS certification (Highly Preferred)

• Familiarity with Dentrix (Highly Preferred)

• A passion for helping others achieve their personal goals.

• Strong communication skills
