Monday: 8:45AM - 7:00PM
Tuesday: 8:45AM - 6:00PM
Wednesday: 8:45AM - 6:00PM
Thursday: 8:45AM - 4:00PM
Dental Assistant Job Description
- Setting up operatories for treatment
- Seating patients in a timely manner
- Ordering and stocking supplies
- Chairside assisting the doctor
- Anticipating the needs of the dentist
- Taking digital x-rays
- Lab work
- Taking impressions
- Making temporary crowns
- Sterilizing instruments
- Chart audits for preparation for the next day’s schedule
- Calling patients to check on them after certain procedures
- Educating patients about treatment and products
- Assisting other team members when needed
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience
- Dental terminology knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, including while on the phone
- Fast learner and self-motivator
- Friendly
- Team player
- High school diploma or beyond
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
