Delivery Technician

Cleek's Inc. is a family owned business since 1956 that believes in strong ethics, family values, and giving back to the communities we serve. We have 5 stores located in Mid-Missouri and are looking for career minded individuals who want to succeed and join our winning team!

The individual in this position will be a very visible person in the community as they will be in the field on deliveries regularly. Therefore it is extremely important that they operate our delivery vehicles in a safe and professional manner. They are also the last contact we have with our customer and the impression the delivery driver leaves at the customer’s house plays a vital role in the customer’s satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Properly loading and securing merchandise on delivery vehicle

• Safely driving delivery vehicle

• Properly installing and demonstrating the product to the customer in their home

• Clean and certify merchandise in the backroom

• Maintain the store’s backroom warehouse in a neat and orderly manner

• Ensure that delivery schedule is followed and route sheets are properly filled out

• Confirm customer identification, explain lease agreement, collect money, and obtain customer’s signature on lease agreement

• Assist with showroom display and marketing efforts in the field

• Verify correct merchandise and accessories for delivery

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Minimum high school diploma preferred (not required)

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and have a good driving record

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and using a dolly for merchandise

• Professional and neat appearance

• Strong technical skills or working knowledge of appliances & electronics
