- Hire, train and manage assigned delivery driver personnel. Including payroll and PTO oversight.
- Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy, and productivity.
- Fleet Maintenance, make sure that trucks are in DOT compliance, PM's completed, and any necessary repairs are made in a timely manner.
- Be flexible and capable of being on a delivery route if needed.
- Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery, routing teams and customer service departments.
- Regular attendance, timeliness, and adherence to Johnson Brothers PTO policy.
- Monitor Drivers pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
- Maintain a valid CDL license.
- Ability to accurately follow processes, procedures, and solution any issues that may arise.
- Payroll and PTO oversight.
- To include any other requests made by Management not included in these specifically outlined.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in delivery operations.
- Proficient in DOT regulations.
- Familiar with GPS tracking software (Samsara preferred).
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and internet applications.
- AS400 experience preferred.
