SalaryJoin our team as a Delivery Helper in the Lakeland metro area, serving Central Florida. This 1099 contract position involves occasional lifting (up to 80lbs), timely deliveries within a 100-mile radius, and requires reliability. English fluency is a must, with preference given to bilingual candidates (Spanish/English). Shift starts early morning for prompt deliveries. Weekly compensation.
Duties:
- Assist the delivery driver in transporting goods to customers' locations.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move products from the vehicle to the designated area.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Drive commercial vehicles under supervision.
Skills:
- Experience as a 26ft Box Truck driver or in a similar delivery role is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. (Up to 80 pounds)
-Experience with appliance and household furniture installations or willing to learn
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and courier services is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual
- Reside in Lakeland metro
- Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred)
- Comfortable with a 100-mile delivery radius
