Delivery Drivers Needed!

Hammons and Long Inc, a FedEx Ground contractor, is URGENTLY HIRING full time Delivery Drivers. We need people who are reliable, energetic, and ready to get the job done. Successful drivers put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction. Drivers will be operating out of the FedEx Ground terminal located at 13115 SW Tualatin-Sherwood Rd. Sherwood, OR 97140 and will be making deliveries in the surrounding area in -step vans provided by employer.

No CDL required! FedEx/Amazon/UPS/DHL experience is a plus!

This position is for Experienced or Non Experienced Drivers

Starting Pay: $22/hour

Work Schedule: Full time 4 days a week (Sat - Tues), part time available as well for Saturday and Sundays. Hours approx 7:30am-4:30pm or until route completion

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• 1 year of job-related driving experience (Uber/door dash, construction, landscaping medical transport, etc) Preference for Large Vehicle driving (Step Vans, Box Trucks, etc.)
• Must be willing to submit to a background check
• Physically able to handle up to 150lbs (with assistance of a dolly)
• Able to deliver around 150 stops per day and work in all weather conditions

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Arrive at Portland FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages
• Must conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
• Loading and Unloading packages from the truck
• Delivering packages to the correct destination
• Accurately scanning and logging packages
