Aya Pastry Delivery Driver
A bakery delivery driver’s main job is to make sure that he or she delivers bakery items to customers. As a driver it is important to handle all breads and pastries with care upon delivery. As an important piece to Aya Pastries, attendance and punctuality is pivotal.
• Obtain orders from delivery clipboards
• Follow the proper route plan that’s planned out.
• Pick up orders from bakery (cooler—freezer), and place them carefully inside assigned Aya Honda/van
• Navigate to destinations, following rules and regulations of traffic, and ensure that no violations are made.
• Ascertain that all deliveries are made in a timely and accurate manner, to the correct address.
• Introduce yourself to customers and provide them with information of deliveries if required as well as special instructions.
• Hand over bakery items to customers or place in designated areas if required.
• Provide backend with information on completed deliveries, on a regular basis.
• Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on assigned delivery vehicles. If there are issues, notify management asap.
• Ensure that the interior of the assigned delivery vehicle is kept clean after each shift.
Aya Pastry Packer
Bakery Packers ensure that all baked goods are packaged as specified by the Shift Lead. Packers are an integral part of the Distribution Department, which relies on Packers' knowledge and experience to ensure that our products meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Able to identify product by name
Prepare individual customer order using daily clipboard
Pack bread in paper or plastic bags
Use Bread and Bun slicer
Load products in boxes
Wrap products
Stock inventory for next day
Notify supervisor of any shortages
Ensures that our products meet the company’s standards and specifications
