- Position: Delivery Driver Packer
- Location: Richardson, TX
- Schedule: Full Time
- Hours: 40+hrs a week. 8:30a.m-5:00pm and weekly rotation of after hours on call service. Punctuality and reliability are a must. Availability before 8:30 or after 5:00 may be required at different times of the month. Role is roughly 40% delivery driving and 60% packing. On call is every 5th week.
THE POSITION:
As a Delivery Driver/Packer, you are representing Apple HMS with our patients daily. This role requires an outgoing and helpful person who will provide outstanding patient service. Must have the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot medical equipment problems while in patient homes or on call.
- Safely and efficiently deliver orders to patient's homes.
- Confirms all delivery items and paperwork are completed and turned in to appropriate person.
- Accurately pack and ship monthly patient orders when not on a delivery route.
- Inspect products for defects, damage, and expired dates.
- Represent Apple HMS with outstanding customer service and support with attention to detail and effective communication.
- Follows process and procedures while on weekly rotation for after hours on call service.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area clean as required.
- Follows all safety regulations and performs all work in a safe manner.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand on your feet for long periods.
