We are actively seeking someone to load, transport, and unload products with efficiency and care in alignment with the daily delivery schedule. Uphold superior customer service standards and foster customer loyalty by delivering products promptly and with respect. This employee must prioritize not only efficiency but also safeguard the integrity of the final product by preventing damage during handling.
The Company: For over 40 years, our client has been a prominent door and window dealer in Florida, gaining widespread recognition. Situated in sunny and beautiful Sarasota and Bradenton, FL.
The Position: We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our well-established company in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
Compensation Package:
- $18 to $19 Per Hour
- Medical, Dental Vision
- PTO – 11 Days First Year (88 Hours)
- Performance Based Review Conducted Annually
Requirements:
- Conduct Regular Vehicle Check-Ups and Maintenance
- Unload and Load of Deliver Trucks (Windows, Doors, Glass, Misc. Parts)
- Follow And Prioritize Safety Protocol
Responsibilities:
- 40 Hours Per Week 7:00am to 3:30pm With Potential For Overtime
- Maintain Valid Driver’s License And Clean Driving Record
- Ensure Truck is Maintained And Kept Clean Everyday
- Gas And Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Filled Everyday
- Communication With Assigned CSR’s
- Provide CSR And Warehouse Manager Proof of Deliveries
- Safety Equipment Worn at All Times
- Use of Provided Equipment to Ensure Safe And Secure Delivery (Dollies, Carts, Suction Cups, ect.)
- Uniforms Kept Clean And Properly Worn
- Ability to Assist in Heavy Lifting Up to 75lbs
- Make Sure All Product is Loaded Securely And Properly for Daily Delivery
- Paperwork is Accurate And Completed End of Day
- Positive and Professional Attitude
- Maintain Good Relations With Customers, Builders, And Other Trades on Jobsite
