Delivery Driver

Rawson Inc Builders Supply is a distributor of building supply products. We are seeking to hire a first-shift, full time Delivery Driver.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will operate a light delivery/panel truck, commercial, or similar vehicle to pick up and deliver parts, materials, and finished products. To service customers in the local area. This is a vital role in our company as you will be the face of our organization to our customers. If you have excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Loads/unloads truck with material scheduled for the day's deliveries.
• Determines most efficient order of delivery and prepares schedule showing order to be followed. Consults with supervisor about any unusual problems.
• Delivers materials and gets receiving slips signed.
• Picks up returns and items for use by the company. Verifies goods received against packing slips and signs receipt.
• Maintains simple records of deliveries and truck mileage.
• Reports any mechanical problems to supervisor.

Experience:

• Valid DL and clean driving record.
• Ability to maintain simple logs and records.
• Dependable worker able to carry out a series of work instructions without constant supervision.
• Must be physically able to lift up to fifty pounds regularly in order to load and deliver packages.

Job Type: Full-time
