The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring a fast and accurate meal delivery to the guest. The Driver is also responsible for ensuring the quality of the delivery before completing the drop-off. The Driver is to represent the ideals and standards of Double A Enterprises LLC and Chick-fil-A The Shoppes at Bartlett at all times while on-duty. The driver must have excellent people skills and a good driving record to help us take the Chick-fil-A customer service experience on the road. Proof of a clean driving record must be provided before hire and Drivers are required to inform leadership should that standing change during their employment.

  Completing tasks and ensuring that products and guest experience are consistent with the Chick-fil-A brand, culture, and the Operator’s vision.

• 
  Work with urgency to complete tasks efficiently and achieve operational excellence in all that you do.

• 
  Preparing, assembling, and serving products to food stations according to Chick-fil-A standards

• 
  Communicate clearly with fellow team members and leaders.

  Stand for periods of up to 5 hours in length

• 
  Basic mathematical and measurement skills

• 
  Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant by mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning, and equipment care.

  Always courteously greet guests even if working in the kitchen.

  Unloading delivery trucks supplies and placing in proper storage area

• 
  Able to lift up to 45 pounds

• 
  Maintaining a well-groomed and clean appearance and always dressing professional

• 
  Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and inspection standards

• 
  Fulfill other duties as required to assist team members and leadership with necessary tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years old due to insurance requirements.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required for full-time
• Must be able to uphold the Chick-fil-A standard of professionalism while on duty.
• Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license.

Why we're closed on Sundays

Our founder, Truett Cathy, made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose - a practice we uphold today.

Fresh food prep

At Chick-fil-A we take a "cook less, more often" approach. By studying smart, lean manufacturing principles used in other industries, we have created new ways to serve our guests the freshest food possible while reducing food waste.

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
