Gallo Wine Sales of New Jersey is Hiring! Seeking skilled CDL Delivery Drivers to join our team in the field delivering product to help our mission of serving joy in moments that matter!
Job Overview:
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a - 4:30p / Till Route Complete
- As a Driver, you will make product deliveries to customers, perform various customer service function in connection with deliveries and maintain accurate required documents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Makes product deliveries and/or picks up cases from our customers.
- Rearranges or restacks loads to make deliveries, as needed.
- Accounts for all breakage, overage and shortage.
- Accurately completes required delivery paperwork.
- Obtains written signature from customers for proof of delivery.
What You Will Need:
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
Required to possess a valid class A or B license or permit with air-brake certification, a current medical certificate, and a safe driving record. • Drivers are required to submit to all drug and alcohol testing per DOT regulations, including random screening.
Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Required to obtain a New Jersey driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
Required to make an average of 25 deliveries a day with an average of 450 cases per day. The average case weight is approximately 38 pounds.
Required to lift cases of product up to 60 pounds.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $23.00 / per hour ; union position with step/rate increases based on the contract
