JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for safe, efficient transportation and delivery of customer catering orders, while presenting a professional and customer focused image. Food safety, product presentation and safe driving practices are all a part of this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
- Adhere to assigned schedule while delivering orders in a safe and timely manner (Learning on the Fly, Perseverance, Approachability)
- Verify orders to ensure all items are loaded for complete delivery and work with the supervisor or other appropriate management as instructed to resolve problems (Decision Quality)
- Report any vehicle safety issues and/or temperature holding concerns to supervisor or appropriate management to resolve any issues before proceeding to use the vehicle (Problem Solving)
- Conduct a trip inspection of delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order and coolers are holding temperatures, documenting results in the trip inspection log (Priority Setting)
- Maintain equipment sanitation including but not limited to: vehicles, holding boxes/bags, beverage dispensers, etc. (Intellectual Horsepower, Organizing)
OTHER JOB DUTIES (Not considered essential to the job)
- Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (must be 18 years old to drive)
- Licensing Required:
- Valid Class D driver’s license
- Experience
- Safe driving record; minimum of two years previous driving experience desired

- Knowledge of the Twin Cities metro area desired
- Comfortable working and interacting daily with diverse internal and external customers in a professional and cooperative manner
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
- Ability to handle and deliver alcoholic beverages
