Delivery Driver And Logistics Lead

OBS, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Love Company, LLC, provides for the staffing needs of CannAscend Ohio Processing, LLC, an Ohio, family-owned, small business with a medical cannabis processing facility located in Wilmington, Ohio. The Company extracts the medicinal properties of the plant and produce manufactured products that are a tremendous benefit to people’s lives.

Requirements

• The work requires the physical and mental capacity to contribute daily to an often rigorous, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding cannabis processing facility
• Strong inter-personal skills, able to work productively within a group environment
• Ability to focus, stay on task, and continuously demonstrate attention to detail
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions
• High School Diploma or G.E.D at a minimum
• State law requires that applicants be 21 years old to work for processing center
• Valid driver's license and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check
• The candidate must pass the state required background check through the FBI and the BCI
• Maintain a current driver's license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and get in and out of an automobile several times a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, carry product, totes and push carts
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Steady employment history
• Confident navigating by using maps and GPS
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions

Responsibilities

• This position will require local travel within the State using a company-provided transportation truck
• Responsible for safely, securely, and lawfully transporting cannabis to dispensaries as well as ensuring strict adherence to state law and all delivery and manifest protocols and controls
• Coordinate deliveries with clients and facilitate delivery manifests
• Will work alongside an assistant to provide security for the staff and product from the processing to off-site locations
• May provide back-up for other departments
• Must be able to work alongside a partner, in a cooperative and professional team environment, to provide secure product delivery from processing facilities to off-site locations
• Assist with packaging deliveries and checking against the order form
• Must ensure product is properly secured prior to delivery
• Accurately file and maintain manifests and cash transaction logs, after each delivery
• Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product delivery
• Maintain accurate and timely vehicle maintenance logs
• Cross train and provide coverage in the processing departments, as business needs require
• Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
• Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of Company and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives

Qualifications

• Client facility location = CannAscend Ohio Processing, LLC in Wilmington, Ohio
• Perform his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry
• Carry out all procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with, OSHA regulations, Company SOP's and all applicable procedures
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Communicate well, in a professional manner with employees and customers
• May require weekend/holidays alternating rotation
• Starting salary equals $42,000 per year with 6-month performance review and potential bonus
