Delivery Driver 26Ft Box Trucks

Compensation is around $1400 Monthly. Amazon Local Loads.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated driver partner who is interested in working as an independent contractor. The role involves driving our 26ft Box truck, primarily operating in the Chula Vista area.

Key qualifications and responsibilities include:

• Availability: The ideal candidate should be willing to stay on the road for 2-3 weeks at a time and be ready to start immediately.
• Licensing and Experience:
• Clean DMV driving record.
• Driver's license with at least 3 years of experience. If your current license is less than 3 years old, we will require a copy of your previous license for insurance purposes.
• Medical Requirements: Must possess or be able to obtain a valid medical card.
• Drug Testing: Ability to pass a drug test.
• Background Check: Clean background record and ability to pass a background check.
• Additional Certifications: Possession of a TWIC or TSA card is a plus. If you do not have these certifications, we can provide information on how to obtain them.
• Timeliness: Punctuality is crucial for pick-up and drop-off times. Our performance is graded by brokers and Amazon Relay, so it is essential to maintain a high score. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and reasonable excuses will be considered. However, being late without valid reasons can impact our score and result in financial penalties of $250.
• Compensation: The position offers competitive pay, and we provide overnight hotel accommodations when necessary.

Please note that this position is not a direct hire for Amazon. We are an independent owner-operator seeking a reliable driver who is willing to work as an independent contractor, operating our 26ft Box Truck.
