National HVACR wholesale distributor is looking for a full time Delivery Driver - CDL license required to help support our continued growth and expansion. Duties:
- Make deliveries to customers (80%) – CDL required
- Warehouse (20%) - Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks
- Manage and handle shipping, loading and unloading of products.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks – can obtain forklift license while on the job
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
- Keep warehouse premises neat and clean
- Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date.
- Monitor and manage inventory control – Computer knowledge
- Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.
Requirements:
- CDL License - must have a clean driving record
- Must have Medical Card
- Hazmat Endorsement – must obtain within 90 days of being hired (company will pay to get this for you)
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
- Operate Forklift and pallet jack – will certify while on job
- Basic Computer Skills - Preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
- Must be able to pass drug tests
