About us
The White Market is a family owned and operated grocery store. We've been proudly serving our community since 1963.
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide responsive, exceptional service to customers by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples, and responding to requests.
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and party trays.
- Ensure that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, removing trash, and confirming that tools are in working order.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
- Control freshness by rotating and coding all products and remove out-of-code merchandise.
- Ensure the shelves and cases are fully stocked at all times. Remove any products that are past their sell-by date and monitor products that are running low or are out of stock so more can be made or ordered in.
- Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Must be 18 or older
Must be able to lift heavy items, ranging from 10 to 40 lbs, and operate equipment, such as meat and cheese slicers, scales, cash registers, etc.
