Delegated Nurse (Rn)

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at White Marlin Care as a Delegated Nurse. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and overseeing medication assistants within our assisted living facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct initial and follow-up assessments every 45 days during site visits.
2. Evaluate the clinical status of clients regularly.
3. Assess the competency of medication assistants in administering medications.
4. Analyze the complexity of tasks to be delegated, including environmental assessment.
5. Make interim visits to the facility as needed, especially in situations such as medication discrepancies, hospital admissions/discharge of residents, changes in clinical status, etc.
6. Respond to calls from the assisted living manager regarding medication issues, staffing changes, and any concerns related to residents' well-being.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the facility.
• Flexibility to be on call and available for site visits at least every 45 days.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting is preferred.
