As data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge to support the Navy's training mission while accelerating Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) capabilities for our Nation's warfighters.
As a client-facing data analyst on our Navy team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on improving processes related to Navy Accessions, RRL, and Sailors' Career Lifelong Learning Continuums.
How You'll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, you'll:

• Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
• Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, and evaluation of large data sets.
• Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
• Apply communication and data analytics expertise by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.
• Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
• Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, slide decks, and Power Business Intelligence tools.
• Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience at a Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) Learning Center
• 2+ years of experience with the EOD and Navy Diver (ND) Supply Chain Working Group (SCWG) processes and requirements
• 2+ years of experience with the NETC End to End processes, including Job Duty Task Analysis, Front End Analysis, Integrated Master Schedule and Master Plan, and Business Case Analysis
• 1+ years of experience with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes and requirements
• Experience with using Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate effectively, concisely, and authoritatively in English, both orally and in writing, including preparing correspondence, written reports, and briefs
• Ability to use databases and manipulate spreadsheets
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) programs and processes
• Experience with using the Navy's Flank Speed and Microsoft 365 suite of applications
• Experience as a Qualified U.S. Navy Master Diver, U.S. Navy Master EOD Technician, or EOD Officer O3 or above
• Data Management, Data Analysis, or Business Analysis Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
