Duties

  • Assist residents and patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, and ambulation
  • Measure and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration)
  • Observe and promptly report any changes in the residents' and patients' health or behavior to the nursing staff
  • Safely position and support residents and patients to prevent bedsores and other complications
  • Carry out specific care plans and tasks as assigned by the registered nurse
  • Assist residents and patients with a range of motion exercises and activities to increase mobility and improve overall health and wellbeing
  • Work closely with other healthcare team members to ensure a safe, comfortable, and clean environment for the residents and patients
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and adherence to facility guidelines and policies

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a High school diploma or GED
  • Provide a proof of COVID vaccination
  • Should be 18 years old and above
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Physical ability to perform all duties as required, including lifting, transferring, and supporting residents and patients
  • Strong commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care for all residents and patients
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
