General Description of Position
This role is focused on supporting business and product decisions within the Retail Fuels organization of Murphy USA. Will work with the Manager and cross functional teams to analyze, track and report performance of various Retail Fuels initiatives. Will regularly interact with management to provide analyses and recommendations in support of new store fuel performance, fuel products and ongoing business initiatives within the Retail Fuels organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• New Store Performance Reporting and Tracking

• Weekly phase shift recommendations and performance reporting
• Maintain and continuously improve Power BI reporting for RAMP team monthly meetings.
• Maintain and continuously improve new store tracking document for phase shifts, weekly performance meetings and tactic recommendations.
• Tactical efficacy analyses
• Ramp curve baselines by geography, build-type, and site selection play
• Decision support for upcoming Structural vs Inherent NTI strategy
• Sister store impact within radius of NTIs (micro market impact)
• Lookback analyses of any changes made to strategy/tactics which result in performance tracking methods.

• Support Product Managers through Decision Support

• Perform product level analyses with regards to execution, tactical efficacy, volume, margins, and historical performance.
• Perform competitor pricing behavior analyses of products utilizing all available sources.
• Assist with recommendations and analysis interpretation to support product decisions.

• Support ongoing initiatives within the business through Decision Support.

• Perform analyses over multitude of Retail Fuels initiatives to provide Decision Support at key touch points.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gain insights and understanding of how functions fit within various initiatives.
• Update status of various initiatives of which there is direct involvement.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience within the retail fuels or energy sector.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with market research tools and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Retail fuel specifications, industry trends, and regulations is a plus.
