Deburr, Shipping & Receiving Operator
· Exercise focused attention to detail is required.
· Good verbal & written communication skills,
· Ability to follow written & verbal direction,
· Ability to visually compare parts to blueprints,
· Ability to use Microscope, using fine motor skills in working with metal & plastic parts,
· Must have the ability to stand, kneel or sit on a constant basis in a Manufacturing setting,
· Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds,
· Be self-motivated, contribute to team efforts, be reliable and maintain a safe work environment,
· Computer knowledge is needed to read SDS, Work-order instruction, shipping websites, and basic business skills,
· Follow all relevant work instructions along with customer standards,
· Education required: High School diploma or G.E.D.
Primary responsibilities:
- Use hand & power tools such as hobby knives, files, orbital sander, tumbler & dremel to deburr metal & plastic machined parts.
- Review electronic or written blueprints & specifications for each job.
- Check accuracy of work against job specifications.
- Simple hand & tool assembly of product components.
- Cleaning of parts prior to packaging.
- Packaging of completed parts for shipping.
(6) months experience preferred.
