Seeking a skilled and adaptable individual to perform precision tasks including filing, sanding, deburring, and polishing parts using various tools and machinery. Responsibilities include inspecting and measuring components to ensure quality, conducting routine maintenance, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. The role requires effective communication, a collaborative attitude, and a readiness to assist with facility-related requests and additional duties as needed to support the teams.

What you’ll do:?
· Utilize a variety of tools, including manual, pneumatic, and electric hand tools and machines, to file, sand, deburr, or polish parts.
· Manually manipulate workpieces or tools to accomplish precise tasks.
· Develop or suggest methods and parameters for blending and polishing tasks.
· Inspect and measure finished components to ensure they meet specifications, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
· Execute cleaning operations and perform routine machine maintenance as needed.
· Provide assistance with requests related to company facilities.
· Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and promptly reporting any incidents or hazards.
· Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and team members regarding job progress.
· Team player with a positive attitude, eager to collaborate and contribute to the success of the team.
· Assume additional duties as assigned to meet the evolving requirements of the department.

Requirements:· Must satisfy Export Control compliance prerequisites, being a "US Person" as described by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15; which encompasses US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Posses a California drivers license.
· Eagerness to acquire skills in operating manual machinery such as mills, lathes, lappers, and drills.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent hand-eye coordination.
· Experience in operating deburring equipment and conducting visual inspections.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
· Attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
· Experience in the skillful manipulation of delicate components through manual dexterity.
Physical Requirements:?
This job operates in both an office and Machine Shop environment.
· Ability to stay in stationary position for extended length of time.
· Remove or replace up to 50 pounds.
· Positioning, arranging, or moving items up to certain heights or at ground level.
· Occasional ascending/descending of Ladders.
· Ability to use/work on small parts or tools for an extended period of time.
· Work continuously using a microscope.
