We are seeking an experienced Attorney in the Financial Sector, specifically with experience in the debt sector, collections, banking, or bankruptcy.

Responsibilities:
Provide advice to clients on legal matters.
Analyze legal issues, research on various topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations. Summarize findings and present them to your team.
Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, pleadings, and agreements. Ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and adherence to legal guidelines.
Manage all aspects of legal cases, including preparing for trials, organizing case files, researching relevant case precedents, drafting trial-related documents, and representing clients in negotiations or court, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on case progress, and address any questions or concerns. Maintain professional and confidential client relationships.
Manage junior attorneys & paralegals in caseloads, including organizing and maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and managing document databases.
Attend court hearings, trials, and depositions alongside junior attorneys. Report on hearing and depositions.
Conduct in-depth legal research to stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to assigned practice areas. Analyze legal documents, statues, case law, and other relevant resources to build strong legal arguments and develop effective legal strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues and other legal professionals to brainstorm strategies, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of the legal team.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; Juris Doctorate and successful completion of the Bar exam is preferred.
Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related mail operation services or CRM software applications.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal files, business correspondence and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and business correspondence; ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers or employees of the organization. Bilingual Spanish Preferred.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to understand and interpret statistical reports, data charts and graphs.
Qualifications that Predict Success
Strong understanding of legal concepts, procedures, and terminology. Familiarity with legal research methods and resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend complex legal concepts and convey them clearly to clients.
Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate client records.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Compensation: Salary range of $100,000-200,000 starting salary with performance-based incentives.
