Maranatha is seeking a qualified individual to become Dean of the School of Education on or before August 1, 2024. The School of Education is the largest among Maranatha’s eight academic units. Since 1995 Maranatha’s Teacher Education programs have been authorized by Wisconsin DPI to license beginning educators in 10 distinct licensable content and developmental areas from pre-school through secondary levels.
Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in Education (or be willing to complete one) and possess demonstrated excellence in classroom instruction and leadership skills. Expected qualifications include comfort and commitment to promote Christian schools while seeking to prepare educational servants and leaders in all types of Educational institutions, including Christian, Home, and Public.
Faculty Qualifications - We desire faculty with outstanding character and necessary skills as well as those who would maintain fundamental Baptist distinctives and ethos. By God’s grace, Maranatha will never knowingly select individuals to faculty positions whose beliefs or practices are at variance with Maranatha’s deeply held and biblically supported religious convictions. Therefore,
- Faculty members must be fundamental Baptists by practice and conviction.
- Individual lifestyles must be in conformity to biblical teachings related to morality and virtue.
If you meet these pre-qualification conditions, Maranatha may be a place of ministry and service.
