Job Description Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a group of Relationship Managers/Territory Managers in selected geographical area. This position includes the identification of prospective new dealers and dealer groups, providing all pertinent field support as needed to field Relationship managers and provide all necessary training to the Relationship Managers on the Bank programs. In addition, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving production and other KPIs, managing promotional programs, provide management with ongoing market area competitive reports and provide assistance in any dealer issues. The position is accountable for maintaining necessary budgeting, expense and personal controls, as well as for the overall performance of the assigned geographic territories.
Essential Job Functions
Manages and coaches a team of field Relationship Managers and/or Area Sales Managers.
Meets production, expense and other key performance indicator goals for assigned areas.
Recruits and hires Account Managers and/or Area Sales Managers as needed.
Facilitates and sells Bank's products and promotional programs.
Identifies commercial prospects for Bank's floorplan and commercial banking products and services.
Identifies dealers that may create potential exposure for the Bank and advises Management.
Assists in resolving Dealer issues or collecting charge backs.
Provides current competitive market analysis data for territory.
Manages monthly expenses within delegated budget, and within Bank guidelines.
Participates and attends industry events and shows (e.g. RVDA, etc)

Ensures adherence by supervised group of Account managers.
Maintains accurate documentation on all systems regarding contact with Dealers.
Provides National Sales Manager with new loan/lease program suggestions.
Ensures the Bank's presence in all pertinent trade organizations for area.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
- Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.
- Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
- Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.

- Bachelor's Degree

This position has the option to work in one of our key hubs or to work remotely as long as it is in within CA.
Annual Hiring Range:
$162,500
- Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
