MGM Grand Detroit believes superior customer service is what sets us apart from the rest. We are seeking candidates to qualify for attendance in our Blackjack Dealer Academy. Candidates must pass a basic math test and an interview for consideration. Selected candidates will be invited to attend our Blackjack Dealer Academy which is a five-week, unpaid training course. Offers will be extended to selected candidates for part-time positions after successful completion of the Blackjack Dealer Academy.
To maintain a professional, working environment, all applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be at least twenty-one years of age at time of interview, and successfully pass an interview and basic math test.
All applicants must also attend all assigned academy classes, pass a background investigation and obtain a MGCB Level 2 License, be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays, and must be able to stand for long periods of time.
This position requires working in an environment where cigarette, cigar and
pipe smoking are allowed.
