Duties:
- Provide Direct Care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Implement individualized care plans and follow established protocols.
- Promote socialization and engagement through meaningful activities.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Drive individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities as needed.
- Provide dementia care and support for individuals with memory impairments.
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and privacy are respected.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of systems and processes related to home care and social work is beneficial.
- Ability to clean and maintain a safe environment for individuals with special needs.
- Familiarity with assisting individuals with ADLs and providing personal care.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or other special needs is highly desired.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques for individuals with dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive individuals to appointments or activities.

Pay: From $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
