Being the training department, we are seen as the face of the company. You must possess good, positive energy and hospitality that makes new associates feel welcomed and engaged during their training period. The DC Trainer is primarily responsible for the training and coaching of newly hired associates and cross training of tenured associates in all job functions withing the warehouse. As leaders and support to operations, it is imperative to have high attention to detail and to be able lead by example by displaying a positive, professional image and attitude to all associates and staff. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with your supervisor and other trainers. Must be reliable and show up to work consistently and on time.
Base Rate: $17.00/hr. + $1.25 Shift Differential
- Earn $0.25 wage increase following the completion of 90 days, 6 months, 12 months and 18 months of service, totaling up to $1.00/hr on top of the base rate.
Available Schedule:
- Sunday thorugh Thursday 9:00pm until 5:30am

- Must be comfortable with public speaking and be able to facilitate orientation and other training in a classroom environment.
- Must demonstrate a high level of partnership with Operation Supervisors.
- Will be required to perform observations to track and document new hire production and progress according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Effectively communicate progress and/or areas of opportunity for new hires or tenured associates needing additional training with area supervisors.
- Will occasionally be required to work in production and meet production standards to support company business needs.
- Comply with all OSHA and safety regulations and policies.
- Must be able to perform effectively in a team environment.
- Operate powered industrial trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, and holidays in compliance with labor laws.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 5 – 40 pounds constantly and 41-60lbs frequently.
- Ability to move up to 40lbs at least 25 feet in distance.
- Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in a warehouse facility preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience preferred but not required
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required
Base rate paid bi-weekly: $17.00/hr + $1.25 Shift Differential
