Dc Operator

Lebanon Seaboard corporation is looking for a highly motivated individual to work in our Distribution Center. The primary duties of the Operator are to perform Distribution Center functions safely, accurately, and efficiently in accordance with Lebanon Seaboard Corporation’s standard operating procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. Follow all safety guidelines and requirements.

2. Ensure compliance with Company policies.

3. Follow all SOPs, SWIs, and OPLs associated with the Distribution Center.

4. Work in a professional manner with team members, management, truck drivers, and

others as required.

5. Accurately load customer orders on designated trucks and confirms shipping orders.

6. Motivate department operators to achieve organizational goals.

7. Inspect all operating equipment for replacements, malfunctions or needed repairs.

8. Performs daily P.I.T. Pre-Operation inspections

9. Accurately and efficiently picks and stages orders in accordance with FIFO.

10. Ability to follow order of operations from management.

11. Receives as necessary and verifies the material’s labeling is correct (item number,

quantity on pallet, etc.).

12. Maintains the cleanliness of the equipment and Distribution Center.

13. Completes preventative maintenance logs when applicable.

14. Assist with all aspects of inventory such as counting, verification, and physical

inventory.

15. Proactive in addressing areas of concern/issues to the Management Team in pursuant

of a safe and productive work environment.

16. Ensures the quality and integrity of each pallet prior to its shipping.

17. Replaces torn/damaged bags from sellable pallets and adjusts inventory to reflect. (Just

adding tape to cover damage is unacceptable and should not be sent to a customer in

such a condition.)

18. Provide feedback or recommendations to the Management Team on specific items or

details for safety or continuous improvement projects.

19. Continually seeks to improve their skills and performance.

20. Perform general housekeeping tasks.

21. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or GED

-Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply.

-Familiarity with Locater/handheld system.

-Common sense understanding to apply basic decision making and instructions.

-Excellent verbal and written communication.

-Problem solving.

-Detail orientated.

-Use of basic computer systems.

-Qualified to operate forklift and high lift.

-Qualified to wear a respirator.

Work Environment:

-Exposure to cold, hot, wet, dry weather conditions.

-Moderate noise level.

-Required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, sit, crawl, etc.

-Lift or move up to 50 pounds.

-Exposure to various chemicals (acids, bases, dyes, herbicides, insecticides etc.).

-Ability to complete tasks and assignments individually but also work in a Team oriented

environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
