Daytime Racquets Sports Associate

The Shadow Valley Racquet Sports department is looking for a confident, mature, motivated, courteous person to add to our Racquet Sports staff. Our position requires past experience or extensive knowledge of the game, experience in merchandising, inventory and a plus if you have previously worked in the customer service industry. This is an hourly based position Monday – Friday 7:30am - 3pm, you must also be flexible to help cover schedule conflicts and also help with Racquet Sports events on occasion. *Applicant must be able to lift 25lbs multiple times during their shift. Enjoying being physical is a must*We are hiring immediately and there will be a mandatory 1-week training period. *

Responsibilities are as follows:

* Being friendly, knowledgeable, outgoing, helpful and courteous to all members of the club. This is of utmost importance and the number 1 trait needed for the position.

* Answering phone calls and being able to give information about the Racquet Sports program from our Junior Academy to upcoming events and lessons.

* Booking courts for members.

* Cleaning and organizing of pro shop merchandise.

* Keeping track of inventory stock.

* Stocking and re stocking of merchandise.

* Monthly inventory.

* Using Point of Sales, sales program to charge members for services or merchandise.

* General court maintenance / facility maintenance, (filling coolers, emptying trash, refilling cups, cleaning and straightening of court furniture, sweeping and blowing of indoor courts).

* Opening and closing, cleaning and organizing of outdoor pool.

* Working with the Racquet Sports Director and Junior Director to accomplish tasks.

* Customer service, customer service, customer service!!
