```Job Overview:
We are a church owned daycare and foster a Christ centered working environment. We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. If you have a passion for working with children, love the Lord, and are committed to their development, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to provide first aid in case of emergencies
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Certification in early childhood education or related field is preferred but not required
