Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the daycare facility
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records
Experience:
- Previous experience in babysitting or early childhood education is preferred
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting is a plus
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations
- First aid and CPR certification is highly desirable
- Strong caregiving skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to multitask
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities and age-appropriate curriculum
