Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
This position is 15-20 hours per week from September 1st through May 25. This job becomes a full time position for our summer camp, averaging 30-35 hours per week.

Duties
Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to designated locations

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle
• Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit
• Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or questions
• Follow established routes and schedules
• Provide excellent customer service at all times

Requirements
Valid bus driver certification with a clean driving record

• Previous experience as a bus driver or Van Driver preferred
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Familiarity with childcare transportation regulations (if applicable)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, additional languages such as Spanish are a plus
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
