Vision House Children's Village Childcare Center, is looking for Floater Teachers to join our dedicated team of early childhood educators for our brand new childcare center. Our mission is to provide every child with a loving, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where they can build positive relationships with others and fosters a love of learning.
This position is Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday), located in Shoreline, WA.
Rate and Benefits
- $500 hiring bonus after 6 months of continuous employment
- $20.00 - $21.00 per hour, DOE, Non-Exempt

Responsibilities
- Works cooperatively with Lead Teacher in implementing a planned curriculum, providing a nurturing environment and sound classroom management according to Children's Village policy for the children enrolled in the program.
- Develop positive relationships with the children, parents and other staff.
- Communicate any concerns regarding the children or program or to the Lead Teacher.
- Maintain room, supplies and equipment in coordination with Lead Teacher.
- Participate in in-service training and team-building activities.
- Implement curriculum & lesson plans for individuals and assigned groups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completed 30 hours STARS training within 90 days of hire or have educational exemption.
- ABILITY TO WORK LONGER DAYTIME HOURS DURING SCHOOL BREAKS AND HOLIDAYS.
- 1-year child care experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proof of negative TB test and MMR Vaccine.
- First Aid/CPR card within 90 days. (Can provide)
- HIV/Bloodborne Pathogen training within 90 days. (Can provide)
- Food Handler's Permit within 90 days.
- Active Christian faith and ability to sign our Statement of Faith.
- Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
